MySJU - Saint Joseph's University's Information Portal

MySJUUsing MySJU, you can access your University email account, personal and group calendars and your Blackboard course pages. You can register for classes, check grades, chat with classmates and faculty, view campus news and events, research career and internship opportunities, build a personal Web page, subscribe to personal groups, or find friends in the campus directory. Finally, MySJU provides easy access to information resources such as the Library, Career Development Center, and Student Life.

Here's how to get started with MySJU:

  1. Point your Web browser to my.sju.edu. The recommended browser is Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, however, Netscape Communicator 4.7 or higher is also supported. Your browser must be configured to accept cookies, and JavaScript must be enabled.
  2. Enter your username and password in the Secured Access Login box on the MySJU home page.

Obtaining Your Computer Account Information

Every student at Saint Joseph's University should have received computer account information in the mail that gives you access to a number of technology services.

If you did not receive or have misplaced your computer account information, Click Here.

Resetting/Changing Your Computer Account Password

If you forgot your password or if you simply want to change your password, Click Here.

  • The Administrative Services section on MySJU is not available every day between 1:30 AM and 3:00 AM for backup purposes.

Common Questions and Problems

Failed Login

If you are seeing the following error message upon attempting to log onto MySJU, you are either entering the wrong username or the wrong password.

If you don't remember or are unsure of your username, refer to the instructions on Obtaining Your Computer Account Information.

If you don't remember or are unsure of your password, refer to the instructions on Resetting/Changing Your Computer Account Password.

After resetting your MySJU password, you may atttempt to log onto MySJU. If you receive an "Account Disabled" error message upon attempting to log on, go to Step 2 of the "Account Disabled" instructions below to have your MySJU account reenabled.

Account Disabled

If you are seeing the following error message upon attempting to log onto MySJU, your MySJU account has been suspended for security reasons. This error typically occurs after 3 consecutive failed login attempts.
To remedy this inconvenience, please do the following

  1. Reset/change your MySJU password.
    Please refer to the instructions on Resetting/Changing Your Computer Account Password.
    NOTE: This error has also been seen after you have reset your password and you try to log on for the first time using the new password. If this is the case please continue with Step 2 below.
  2. Call the Student Help Desk at 610-660-3070 or e-mail hawknet@sju.edu to reenable your MySJU account. If you are sending an e-mail be sure to indicate
    • that your MySJU account is disabled
    • your username (i.e. ec123456)
    • your 8-digit SJU student ID number

Password Expired

If you see the following screen upon attempting to log onto MySJU, please enter a new password that is between 6 and 20 characters and has at least one number. This screen is typically seen if the Helpdesk staff have assigned you a temporary password or if the system deems your password to be too old or too easy to break.
