A number of trojan horse viruses have been reported on campus that exploit Windows file and print sharing. To protect your computer, follow the steps below to disable file and print sharing on your computer:
- Click Start, Control Panel, and double-click on Network Connections.
- Right-click Local Area Connection and choose Properties.
- Clear the File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks box.
