Online -
The staff of Instructional Technology and Distributed Learning (ITDL) is available to assist faculty members in the design and creation of online courses. We will help you design a robust and interactive course to provide an exception learning experience for your online students.
We will also help you implement your own ideas in creating a first rate online course. From using streaming video, live or prerecorded, to helping with Flash projects and PowerPoint.
Videoconferencing -
ITDL can also help you with your videoconferencing needs. There are currently six videoconferencing classrooms on campus, five in Mandeville and one in Haub. This technology can be used to teach collaboratively with other universities or to bring guest lecturers from around the world into your classroom. Beginning in the Fall of 2004, ITDL will provide a portable videoconferencing solution that will turn virtually any networked classroom on campus into a videoconferencing classroom.
