Faculty Development
Recognizing that Training of faculty is pivotal to the full integration of technology into the learning process , a Faculty Development Center devoted to training faculty in the use of multimedia and distance learning technologies was created. The Faculty Development Center is located in Mandeville Hall on the ground floor next to the Teletorium. Faculty can use the equipment in this center to develop curricula and preview material. The Center supports the campus’ current arrangement of multi - platform computer use. An Instructional Designer (Al Labonis) is available to help faculty look at the feasibility of using technology to enhance the learning environment.
Video Library
The Instructional Technology Center houses over 2000 video tapes and DVD's which can be checked out by faculty and staff. The Instructional Technology Center also has viewing carrels available so that students may view the video material in the ITC. Students may not checkout video materials.
