Hardware & Software

The Information Technology Department has established basic service level standards that are provided to the community and standards for supported hardware and software . These standards clearly define the level of service that can be expected from IT Support and the "recommended and supported hardware and software " by Saint Joseph's. The Information Technology Department will not be responsible for the installation or support of non-supported hardware or software

Software

Information Technology evaluates, implements, and supports a set of core applications used on campus for teaching, learning, and conducting University business. New applications and updated version of existing applications are constantly being evaluated and added to the list of supported software, so be sure to check it frequently to ensure you are running the correct applications.

Desktops

The IT Department currently supports Lincoln and Gateway Desktops and all Macintosh desktop systems. Minimum requirements for newly purchased desktops change frequently as vendors release new product, so be sure to check the latest requirement specifications before purchasing a new desktop system.

Laptops

The IT Department currently supports IBM and Gateway laptops, plus all Macintosh laptops. Minimum requirements for newly purchased laptops change frequently as vendors release new product, so be sure to check the latest requirement specifications before purchasing a new desktop system.
