Eudora
Eudora 6 is currently the University's supported email client. Below are some basic tips on using eudora:
Create and Send
Check Incoming Status
Read a Message
Reply to a Message
Forward a Message

Request Return Receipt

WebMail
The University Portal, MySJU, is the preferred method for web-based email access. Through MySJU you can access your e-mail, online calendar, campus news and announcements, and other online services and course materials.
Alternatively, for email only, you may login below to access SJU's other web-based e-mail service powered by SquirrelMail. Be advised that this is a separate program from the University's portal, and thus all the extra features such as announcements, events, courses, etc. are not available.
Directory
The University provides an online directory that houses the e-mail address, phone number, and campus address of all University employees. Access is available to the general public from the University home page, www.sju.edu, in two ways:
- Enter a last name in the Faculty/Staff Search box and click go, or
- Click the Directory link in the page footer.
Oversize Mailbox Utility
A utility for users who received an email with the subject "Oversize Unix Mailbox" because the size of his/her network mailbox became too large. To reduce the size of your network mailbox, the oldest email was moved out of the network mailbox and into a separate file.
This utility will allow users to restore that email back to his/her inbox. As some of the email may be unwanted (e.g. "spam"), only selected messages will be kept--the rest will be deleted automatically by the system.
Once the messages are restored, they can be read using a standard email program (Eudora, MySJU, etc).
