NetLinks Start-up Procedure
1. Check the PC located in the podium. If the PC is off press the power button. If the PC is already on press the enter key twice to wake it up.
2. Check the touch screen monitor to make sure it is on. If there is a yellow or green light in the lower right hand corner, touch the monitor for 1-5 seconds. If there is no yellow or green light in the lower right hand corner, press the power button indicated by the symbol of a Circle with a Vertical line. Contact IMS at extension 1770 immediately if the monitor does not respond.
3. To start the Control System, touch the monitor. You will be prompted to turn the system on. Touch the button labeled "Yes".
4. To display the PC, press the button labeled PC. This should start the projector up and lower the projection screen. It will take approximately 20 seconds to display on the projection screen.
5. To view the computer full screen on the podium monitor, touch the image of the computer screen. This will cause the Control System to minimize and the monitor will behave as normal computer monitor.
6. To return to the Control System touch the bottom of the monitor, where it is labeled "Touch here to return to the control system." It may be difficult to see in some cases.
NetLinks Shutdown Procedure
1. With the computer in full screen mode, log off of the Computer as you would normally.
2. Touch the "Touch here to return to the control system." area of the touch screen. This is located at the bottom edge of the screen.
3. Touch the "End Session" button, and on the following page touch the button Labeled "Yes".
