The Office of Information Technology will be a customer-focused advocate of technologies that facilitate and enrich the learning, teaching and research experiences of Saint Joseph’s students and faculty. We will empower the professional and administrative staff to deliver effective, personal support services to all stakeholders of the University.
Our primary objectives are to:
- Promote an education-technology partnership with academic leadership that utilizes innovative technology to advance the teaching and learning experiences of the University community.
- Provide reliable, secure, highly-available, and well-organized web-based access to University information, services, and communications to the extended University community.
- Deliver excellent customer service to the University community emphasizing timely and competent service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a reliable, secure, flexible technology infrastructure in support of the teaching, learning, research and administrative mission of the University.
- Evaluate emergingtechnologies and assess the applicability of these technologies to university requirements. Identify opportunities to apply technology in innovative ways to improve business processes.
- Recruit and retain highly skilled, customer-focused IT professionals.
The office of Information Technology consists of five units providing specialized technology services to the Univeristy.
